RICHMOND HILL FAMILY HOME, LONDON
This client asked the team to design their London home with a calm, characterful interior that blends contemporary design with curated vintage pieces. Warm wood tones, soft textiles, and sculptural furniture create a welcoming, lived-in atmosphere, while bold artwork and layered décor add personality and depth. Natural light and greenery enhance the sense of balance, resulting in a refined yet comfortable space designed for both relaxation and entertaining.
NOTTING HILL FAMILY HOME, LONDON
This project involved a spatial transformation, opening the wall between two existing rooms to turn a former office into a luxury en suite featuring a bathtub, shower, WC and vanity. The main bedroom has remained in its original position, with the old office door closed up and replaced with a custom built-in bookshelf. With a coved niche redesigned as a functional passage with bespoke cabinetry, the new layout now accommodates a walk-in closet, connecting the bedroom to the new en suite and creating a seamless, functional flow.
A cohesive colour palette of Stone Blue for the wardrobe and dressing cabinetry and Breakfast Room Green for the linen-textured furniture is complemented by soft pink/neutral walls for a warm, calming backdrop. For a classic–contemporary mix, vintage dark wood with brass fixtures alongside curved elements were included, with textural depth created using linen, rattan, painted wood, and vintage timber accents, with soft drapery partitions for flow.
The main bedroom remains rooted in its original footprint but now feels transformed through sophisticated colour and texture layering. A sage upholstered bed, warm wooden floors, and soft neutral bedlinen build a relaxed foundation. The bay window treatments in soft blue and cream add movement and a gentle coastal energy. A sage ottoman and mint-toned bedside furniture tie visually into the new dressing area, ensuring the palette feels continuous. The mood is restful, light, tailored, and elegant.
RICHMOND LOFT CONVERSION, LONDON
The client asked Dimora Studio to convert their London loft into a 55sqm contemporary living space defined by clean architectural lines, controlled natural light, and a harmonious material palette. A central feature is the introduction of overhead roof glazing, which draws daylight deep into the interior, creating a soft, diffused illumination that enhances the calm, ambient atmosphere.
Ribbed glazed partitions flank a focal wall, subtly dividing spaces while maintaining visual continuity and allowing light to permeate throughout. This detailing adds texture and privacy without compromising openness – an effective strategy in loft environments where spatial flow is critical.
Bespoke joinery anchors the space, with a Mid-century inspired console integrating storage, display, and media functions. The use of rich wood tones paired with patinated cabinet fronts introduces depth and tactility.

ORTIGIA APARTMENT, SICILY
Located on the enchanting historic island of Ortigia in Syracuse, Sicily – a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its rich Greek, Roman, Baroque, and Norman layers – this project unites two separate apartments into a single 150sqm refined residence through careful spatial reconfiguration and the removal of key dividing walls. Clear zoning, integrated niches, and built-in elements enhance functionality while preserving architectural clarity. The design carefully restores original architectural features, including arches, doors, and exposed brickwork, showcasing craftsmanship and sensitivity to the site’s heritage.
A modern foyer anchors the space, setting the tone for the apartment, while functional display and storage is integrated into walls. Kitchens have been reimagined as bathrooms, bedrooms converted into living spaces, and balcony access aligned with work and rest spaces for a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
The original proportions, ceiling treatments, and openings have all been preserved, and a calm Mediterranean palette of warm whites, soft stone, muted greens, and natural wood defines the interiors. Textured plaster, light stone floors, exposed timber ceilings, and brass accents create a serene, timeless atmosphere, with the result a balanced and understated home that respects Ortigia’s historic character while supporting contemporary living.
HAMMAMET HOME, TUNISIA
Dimora Studio was asked to help the owner of this beautiful house inside the Medina in Hammamet, Tunisia, to enhance it using local furniture and materials. This project balances minimal architecture with rich, tactile details. Soft arches, whitewashed surfaces, and natural light create a calm foundation, while handcrafted furniture, layered textiles, and curated greenery add warmth and depth. The timeless interior is emphasised to create simplicity and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living.
